This series is inspired by the beauty of fish, both as individual creatures with their intricately detailed and shimmering scales, and en masse, colourful and patterned, swimming together through the water.

In this series of work inspired by my visit to Frida Kahlos's Blue House in Coyoacan Mexico, I strive to bring my self-portraits and the animals I draw to life, imbuing each with aspects of my own personality. I aspire to create something honest and something beautiful.
